Hello,
Thank you for stopping by today!

“I urge you, amid the differences present to the eye and mind, to reach out and create the bond that will protect us all. We are meant to be here together.” —WILLIAM CHASE
In these pivotal times, we have a responsibility to share with each other in a way which is clear and genuine. One way to cope with the ever changing, unpredictable world is to hold dear every precious personal connection. This approach may mean refining our way of interaction to reflect our truest intentions in life. Whoever we are and whatever we have to contribute, there are others who can benefit from the gift of our true essence.
… Turtle Wisdom encourages us to depend on our authentic heart as it is centered and grounded. We are most aligned when we call on the natural connection between our head and our heart, and express from that partnership through authentic actions. There are also times when you may want to retreat within yourself, to focus on the guidance of your own inner knowing and your core self. In other words, you come home to yourself….
Discover ways to create “home” in the outer world, by aligning your outer expression with your truest inner self. Genuine connection sometimes requires great trust, as you risk exposing your most intimate self – your soft belly. A turtle has a constant choice of just how far to stick her neck out, but she won’t get anywhere unless she does!
– Excerpt from the National award-winning book, Turtle Wisdom: Coming Home to Yourself by Donna DeNomme
“The only way to have is to give; the only way to keep is to share.” —GEORGE BOOTH
I am looking forward to this opportunity to share with you!
Blessing to you this day,
Donna

Nothing that is living should be treated with contempt. Whether it is a man, a tree, or a bird, it should be touched gently… for the time is short.
blessings to you this day!

“Trouble is bound to come, so cultivating the right attitude is crucial” (Dalai Lama). During this time of challenge, it is typical for people to fall into a place of blame, personal doubt, and great fear. As conscious individuals we know that we have the right to choose.
“The point is not in the wounding… the point is found in the healing” (Turtle Wisdom). People are remarkably resilient. We come together as individuals and communities and demonstrate the very best of what it is to be human. Our Global Heart Mission proclaims that what we do individually affects the whole. We are all responsible for each other. Right now people need our kind words, our understanding, and our clear consciousness that no matter how bleak it might appear, there is hope. More than hope, there is a certainty that things will shift for the better.
The seasons teach us the lesson of death and rebirth. As we move into our inner contemplation during the quieter months of winter, let us focus on what within us has outlived its time and how we can be reborn to a place which is new. We rejoice in the time of integration – an opportunity to reclaim those valuable parts of ourselves that we might have let go of in an earlier quest for “bigger and better.”
This holiday season, instead of the gift of things; let’s give the gift of ourselves. How can you truly connect with another? How can you brighten someone else’s dark night? How can you remind your loved ones of just how important they are to you? How can you encourage your clients to release the stress of buying for everyone on their list and instead return to the heart of true giving? Remember the days when we wrote each other poems and baked cookies and went for long walks in the snow? Maybe you don’t remember or maybe you never stopped pursuing those simple pleasures! Let’s join together this holiday season and resurrect the true spirit of the season; let’s share beauty, hope, truth, peace, love, and joy.

THIS IS SO DELIGHTFUL! I HAD TO SHARE IT!
http://birdloversonly.blogspot.com/2007/09/may-i-have-this-dance.html
A bird does not sing because it has an answer. It sings because it has a song.”- A Chinese Proverb.
“Snowball is a medium sulphur crested Eleanora cockatoo and he loves to dance and sing. He loves the Back Street Boys. No one taught Snowball to dance…he just heard this song and suddenly felt like dancing. We’re all jealous because he can outdance each one of us…nobody likes a show off! When he’s really in the mood, he dances and sings. And at the end of the performance he takes a bow or two or twenty!! Enjoy the show.”
